This song came about because Chelsey’s friend Rachel asked me to use the word Archbishop in a song.

I stepped into uncertainty with decadence and vanity
The archbishop won't confirm with me the orders from the priory
So return now to your rosary and pour out a little prayer for me
Call on the archdiocese declare to them your love for me

I've asked mother superior to arrange the secret transfer
Of you my lovely paramour hang your habits at my door
We'll commune at the confessional durning St Theresa's festival
On this day I do implore we run away forevermore

And we should light a hundred candles
Before our love becomes a scandal

Mother Mary please forgive me
But I can't just simply go on living
With this church as my bride
While my love for her I can not hide
