Ever-Widening Circles

from Ever-Widening Circles by Megan Howard & Ryan Oyer

about

Megan and Ryan and their band-mates were affected by the loss of two of their friends and band-mates Josh Bates & Hunter White.
Both lost their battles with mental illness. We love them dearly and want to honor their memory.
Megan and Ryan co-wrote the song "Ever-Widening Circles" paying homage to the influence they both had on their friends and family.
We are donating 100% of the proceeds from this song to the Mental Health Association of East Tennessee. They provide essential early intervention, information, and client services, on behalf of those who sometimes are not able to advocate for themselves.
We hope that this song brings you solace and provides a way to give back to a cause that impacts us all.
We are our brother's keepers.
Much love, Megan & Ryan.

lyrics

No matter what I do you'll always slip between my fingers
These hands are strong but can't hold on to you
I feel both joy and pain in the memories that linger
The echoes of the love I wish you knew

Weary from the long goodbye that you and I keep sharing
I'd rather spend all my time loving you
If I had only shown you the weight that I was carrying
The mess that I was going through

Don't you worry 'bout me
I'll be fine, just wait and see
You had to set yourself free
It's ok, I hope you found peace
But your love will ripple
In Ever-Widening Circles
There's no getting over you
Brown eyed, blue

Sometimes I feel so small with this great big world around me
The light I shine just seems to slip away
I used to feel so lost then you came along and found me
Set fire to my heart and soul again

We've got to give each other hope if we're ever gunna make it
This life we share has got a lot to teach
If you should need a hand mine is here for the taking
The dreams we dream don't seem so out of reach

This is my final farewell
You should know, I'm mad as hell
I've got to let it all be
In this life there's no guarantee
But your love will ripple
In Ever-Widening Circles
There's no getting over you
Brown eyed, blue

And now in my dreams
You'll dance in my bedroom
& Play on my radio
Your beat is my heart
Your melodies are the
Familiar songs I know

Don't you worry 'bout me
I'll be fine, just wait and see
You had to set yourself free
That's ok, I hope you found peace
But your love will ripple
In Ever-Widening Circles
There's no getting over you
Brown eyed, blue
